Success is Measured by God!

We know we can’t measure our success in God by the flesh but by the spirit.

Success is not measured by a huge crowd.
Success is not measured by a big following.
Success is not measured by likes.
Success is not measured on everyone’s agreement.
Success is not measured by financial abundance.
Success is not measured by financial lack.
Success is not measured by the crowd.
Success is not measured by the pats on the back.
Success is not measured by the slaps to the face.

(Success is only measured by our obedience to God.)
Obeying His command despite the consequences that resultthrough us being obedient. Knowing the results of following God may indeed cost you your life.
For it is written
( Matthew 16:24 then Jesus said to His disciples, if anyone wants to come after me, he must deny himself take up his cross and follow me. )
It is also written, ( Revelation 12:11 and they overcame him because of the blood of the lamb, and because of the word of there testimony. And they did not love there life even when faced with death.)
You see obeying and following God has always been opposite of what the world loves!
For the scripture also states, ( Luke 6:26 woe to you when all people speak well of you, for their fathers used to treat the false prophets the same way.)
Obeying God cost us everything and if your not willing to cast your nets down and follow him, and pick up your cross and deny yourself you cannot be His disciple!
Your wife doesn’t come first, your children are not who your called to serve, your immediate family does not rule, but it is Christ who is King and everyone must be willing to follow Him no matter what that cost them.
What if it cost us our lives? What if we have to give something up? What if we have to deny ourselves not once in awhile but every day? We should not indulge in our selfish desires, but deny ourselves, to do what God has called us to do. We will say I am rich and increased and God has given me favor, but being rich or increased in the flesh never will equal Gods favor, for the enemy can give you the king-doms of this world.
1 Timothy 6:5 which states, and constant friction between people of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godli-ness is a means of gain.
Matthew 4:8-10, again the enemy took Him along a very high moun-tain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and there glory, and he said to Him, all these things will I give you if you fall down and worship me.
You see it is not about what you possess or how blessed you think you are, for many men are deceived in the midst of there blessings, trapped by there possessions and do not even know that the Carnal mind has strung them along, and they think in there darkened heart all there blessings are gifts from God.
It is possible and a truth for many. I would even say this, every man who possesses the worldly things, whether they say there saved or not are under the spell of flesh.. If God gives you much, it is so you can bless much.
It is written Luke 6:32-33 If you love those that love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those that love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what does is it profit you? For even sinners do the same. Now indeed we are called to provide for our own family and friends. we must teach our children how to lay there lives down also.
If they have not witnessed us lay ours down not just for them, but for the ones who could do nothing for us in return. We need a fresh dose of reality in this land of what the truth really is. The truth is as much as I love my wife and children, they cannot come in between my walk with God!
They be the deciding factor in my decision to follow Christ! It is up to me to obey Jesus and turn and look at them and say I am going to follow the lord! If my wife or children, of family or friends, we will not follow you while you follow Jesus Christ. I would have to say to them, I am will follow him anyway. Now I thank God for a godly wife, but she cannot be the reason I obey or disobey God.
My family, my friends, none of them can be my reason to not follow Jesus. I must obey God in Christ and follow Jesus! Goodbye my family, Goodbye my kin, Goodbye my friends for I now have a new family in Christ.
I now have a new friend in Jesus, I am now a kinsmen of the heirs of God and The Only Begotten Son Of God. Though I desire them all to come with me, ( I say this none of them would ever stop me from following after The Savior!) For I’ve heard His Voice and I’m in love with Him! He has set me free where they could not! He has given me life where they could not! He has loved me with and ever-lasting love where they could not! Indeed let us follow Christ! What-ever the cost, let us learn how to obey and follow Christ! May we by Gods Spirit die so Christ in us may Live!
