Givers and Takers!

I believe there is a carnal mind and a spiritual mind! The carnal mind is out to take and hurt God’s people! The spiritual mind is out to help further the spirtual mind and God’s people in the things of God. There are two kinds of people in this world. The ones who take until it hurts anyone that allows themselves to be hurt by the takers. The givers continue to give until it hurts. Believe me it hurts when you give to people who take your kindness as a weakness then turn on you when you don’t give them their way, they never do anything to get their love to you. When we give to someone we think is on our side who tells us how much they love us yet their actions prove they are just a taker! as long as you do it their way then it is all good. When we stand our ground, they will turn on us like a wolf and do anything they can to hurt us.
The giver thinks they should keep giving and showing their love and eventually it would turn the taker into a giver, good luck!!! This is trick of the enemy or the carnal mind of man. We as givers must choose our battles and find the ones that are in need and willing to change, the weaker ones searching for more of God, or broken by the flesh, to help. The weaker ones of this world who need us to be a giver so we can help fuel their desire to surrender and seek God. We as givers must know when to do as the bible says dust our shoes off and move on. I was a taker before I met God, and my mom was a giver. She kept giving until it hurt, I as a taker at the time kept on taking and taking. She was the only one besides God who did not give up on me. In the end she was 87 years old, and I touched her with on finger and she received the baptism of the Holy Ghost !!! praise God! What a wonderful thing to be able to allow God to help give your mom Eternal life before she moved on to a better place or condition not of this world. Love you mom and miss you being the one who gave me the most. I love you and am doing my best to be a giver and not be a taker, like you taught me. Like I said we have a carnal mind and a spiritual mind. Please examine yourself, are you a giver or a taker? I know by experience both sides of being a giver and a taker. I am glad to be a giver, I must choose my battles and discern the ones who are willing to change and are weaker people, and that are willing to surrender and and listen and have the desire to change.
