How good to be home again
Dee and I went to a service in Portland Oregon yesterday day. It is called Cornerstone Gospel church the Pastor is Brother Baxter. I received the Holy Ghost when I was 18 in a non denominational Pentecostal church in Sunnyvale California!
The church at that time was called Redwood Gospel Assembly. I have been a part of this group of people for almost 50 years. I met my son’s mother at the church 40 years ago, at a meeting at the same church. It is called Cornerstone Gospel assembly. What a nice church I went up to the alter and prayed and it felt good to be around true Holy Ghost filled faithful people again.
Dee and I have a church it is called Freedom Church Gospel Assembly and it is in Siletz Oregon. We are strong believers in the power of the Holy Ghost and speaking to God, in his Heavenly language and the tongues of Angels. I appreciate any church that teaches about the Holy Ghost and the gifts of the spirit.
There is nowhere like home though, it brings life to our souls. It is not led by a program of men and their direction! We are led by the spirit to bring a song, to bring a tongue, to have people testimony, and share their hope, strength and experiences, in the Lord.
If a man of God from a different Assembly wants to get up he can at any time during the service. If you want to sing a special you just get up and go to the platform and sing and the Band will play along with you.
