Is it him or is it me?
I know it is the spirit in me and it is the same spirit that raised Christ from the dead. It will quicken our mortal body and it is no longer I that dwell in this body but him. He makes us worthy the more we dwell in him until we stand in the fullness of Christ in this body.
Paul said he pressed for the High Calling in Christ Jesus. Then Paul said he finished his course henceforth laid up a crown of righteousness. Not to him only but all those who loved his appear-ing. Where is he appearing in us not outside us.
Phil.3 [13] Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, [14] I press to-ward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Je-sus.
2Tim.4 [7] I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: [8] Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
2Cor.6 Verses 16 to 18 [16] And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people
This is talking about on this earth.
Eph.4 Verses 13 to 14 [13] Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: [14] That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cun-ning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Matt.5 [14] Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
John.16 Verses 13 to 15 [13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. [14] He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. [15] All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you
John.14[12] Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall you do. Because I go unto my Father! [13] And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
Greater works shall we do, we came out of sin and are serving him he knew no sin! It is a more pleasing way to come out of sin and to turn from our evil works.
Jas.2 [17] Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. [18] Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. [19] Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. [20] But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead
Does it make me something in myself no not without the spirit of God not the spirit of Jesus, but the spirit of the father. He said I am worthy if I walk in his righteousness and overcome the wicked one. I do not glory in myself. I know the fool I was, and I still do foolish things. Like we all do. I still sin just not willfully yet some-times
Rom.8 [1] There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
[4] That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. [5] For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are af-ter the Spirit the things of the Spirit. [6] For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. [7] Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. [8] So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
I am nothing in Christ I am everything.
It is I who stand in him. I can do nothing without the word and the spirit!
Rom.8 [37] Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. [38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
2Cor.5 [20] Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
After all this know I do not think it is I. It is I who stand in him and him in me, and it is the same spirit that quickened him that quickens me! Is it me or is it him?
