Long Suffering
We know that Jesus suffered long on his journey to the cross. We know through the scriptures that if we suffer with him we shall rein. If we can learn to suffer and be kind why we suffer we take on one of his attributes.
1 Cor. 13 chapter. Well long suffering teaches us patience. We all so know that when we get through the suffering it brings forth fruit. A lot of the scriptures on long suffering are to show us how patient Jesus is for his bride to come forth and has allowed a long time for it to fulfill this plan.
Six thousand years he has waited for man to fess up and stand upright in him.

Numbers 14:18 The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving in-iquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the in-iquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.
Psm. 86:15 But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, long
suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
2Cor.6:6 By pureness, by knowledge, by long
suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned,
Eph.4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Col.1:11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and long suffering with joyfulness;
Col. 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long suffering;
I Tim.1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in my first Jesus Christ might show forth all long suffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
So sometimes it talking about suffering in the flesh and enduring the suffering or how the Lord has had patience waiting for his plan to be fulfilled in us.
