Love
In Gal. 5:22,23 It talks about the fruits of the spirits, which are LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONGSUFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, MEEKNESS, TEMPERENCE.
Then in verse 23 it says there is no law, which means no law of death. These attributes of the spirit will bring life and life more abundantly.
In verse 25 it says if we live in the spirit, let us walk in the spirit. We must not be forgetful hearers but doers of the word. These 9 things are what is will Perfect us for the Bride of Christ. They will bring us to the fullness of the stature of Christ as said in
EPH 4 [13] Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
So let us continue in our lesson and look at some scriptures on these fruits of God, that come through the spirit working its perfect work in our mortal bodies or minds.
Romans 5:8 But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
I John 4 16-19 and we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God and God in him.
Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the Day of Judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear hath tor-ment. He that fear is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us.
John 15 9-17 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue you in my love.
If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.
Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Fa-ther I have made known unto you.
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
These things I command you, that ye love one another.
Eph. 3:17-19 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Prov. 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me
Jer. 31:3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee
Hosea 2:19 And I will betroth thee unto me forever; yea, I will betroth thee unto me in righteousness, and in judgment, and in lovingkindness, and in mercies.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him
