Peace

So we have covered the first two spirits love and joy, these two will bring us to peace in God. The flesh is never satisfied and even though it will bring us tem-poral peace. It always ends up with heartaches and pain. Now the peace of God which passes all understanding is eternal and will stick with us through our life if we put God first. Praise his Holy Name.
Let s us look at scriptures on Peace now the third attribute of the nine fruits of the spirit.

Isa.9:6-7 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, and The Prince of Peace. O

Isa 26:3,12 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusts in thee.

Rm 16:20 And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is with you. Amen

Phil 4:9 Those things, which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you .Rm 5:1By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Col. 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be you thankful.

Psm. 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makes me dwell in safety.

Psm.29:11 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Phil 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus
