Sacrafice or Obedience

When ask what is the difference between sacrifice and obedience we must realize there is a Carnal Christian. Well a Carnal Christian does everything to bless themselves and others. There is a natural reward for the Carnal Christian thru sacrifice.

Doing things like working on or in the church, helping people, and doing what good Christians and people do like loving on your loved ones, your friends, your pastor, and most of all the church. This is all good for the Carnal Christian. It makes one feel good and is not always a sacrifice but a joy inside instead where the spirit dwells and is also pleasing to the flesh. To be obedient is a different thing especially in the spirit or unto the Creator.

It requires complete surrendering to the spirit and not the flesh. The Carnal Christian is not about change. We as true believers must repent and admit our faults and shortcomings. To completely surrender to the Creator, we cannot do that without the Holy Ghost. The natural man cares not about the things of the spirit.

I will go as far to say the natural man is totally against the things that have supernatural gifts. The mind of man has pride and pride always stands before a fall. So to be obedient we must surrender our will for his will. However when the spirit of God comes it will lead and guide us into all truth. Pray for obedience and continue to sacrifice in both the spirit and the flesh.
That will put the Carnal Christian to death and you will become a true believer in the Kingdom of God and live in the Eternal glory as his Bride. We will see the father, and cast our crowns to him. Then we rebuild a better world, where our grandchildren will not taste death. Hold fast to that which is true and learn to press our way into the Kingdom of God. Just like Paul did this will be only done if we surrender and follow after obedience. Thank you and God bless.
