Sin Brings Death Christ Brings Life!

We know God gave his only son Jesus to save his people from sin!

Matt.1
[21] And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

We know Jesus was the Lamb of God who came to take away our sins!

John.1
[29] The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

We also know that if we continue in sin it gets worse and worse.

John.5
[14] Afterward Jesus findeth him in the temple, and said unto him, Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.

We must believe Jesus is who he says he is or we will die in ours sins

John.8
[21] Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.
[24] I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
[34] Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin

We know if we receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost it will take away our past sins!

Acts.2
[38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost

We know that Adam’s sin brought death unto all mankind. Christ brought life and Eternal life.

Rom.5
[12] Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
[19] For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
[21] That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

We know our fleshly mind will lead us to the grave!

Rom.6
[7] For he that is dead is freed from sin.
[10] For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
[11] Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
[12] Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
[13] Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
[14] For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
[15] What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
[16] Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
[18] Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
[22] But now being made free from sin, and becoming servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end of everlasting life.
[23] For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

We know our Carnal minds are against God and his ways so we must learn how to walk in the spirit and not fulfill the things of the flesh.

Rom.7
[14] For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
[17] Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

We must have the spirit of God in us to kill the sin in us. without the spirit we will never overcome the flesh.

Rom.8
2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
[3] For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
[10] And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

We know that Adam sinned and caused death and Christ through his sacrifice was tempted in all ways yet he never yielded to the sin that came his way.

1Cor.15
[21] For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
[34] Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
[56] The sting of death is sin

2Cor. 5 [21] For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Gal.1
[4] Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

We know without Jesus’ example there would not be the grace of God or forgiveness of sin.

Eph.1
[7] In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Eph.2
[1] And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins

We must learn to suffer with him by giving up our natural desires which cause sin to rule and reign with the Lord.

Heb.11
[25] Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than 5to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

We know sin brings death to our souls!

Jas.1
[15] Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

We must have clean hands and a clean heart. If we know something is sin and do it we are a fool.

Jas.4
[8] Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
[17] Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

We as true believers know if we sin we must repent and make it right with God and man.

1John.2
[1] My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

We know that Jesus had to suffer so do we if we are to reach perfection or maturity in Christ to have eternal life. We must overcome sin.

1Pet.4
[1] Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
[8] And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.
[18] And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

We must gerd our minds to know people will cause us harm and we must endure it to be saved from this evil world.

Jesus will save us from sin yet if we continue in sin we will die.
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin

We need the precious gift of the Holy Ghost to lead us away from the earthly ways of man . That causes us to have the desire to sin.

We know it is by his willingness to lie down his life that gave us a Eternal wait of glory.

We were once dead to the things of God now we are made alive by his blood or spirit of the father.

We can be in the world but not be of the world. We can enjoy the riches of this world. Just not the ones that cause us to sin. Or defile our relationship with the Father and the son.

Heb.11
[25] Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
Jas.1

We know lust for the flesh brings death.

[15] Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

We must learn to hand it to Jesus and he will save us from even ourselves.

Jas.4
[8] Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
[17] Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

1John.2[1] My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
So let us repent and turn from our evil ways, put God first and sin will not have dominion of us any longer .

Praise his Holy name
