We know that by man sin entered into this world and by that one man entered death and that one man was Adam. So if we live in sin we shall die. If we obey God and allow him through the Holy Ghost, to work in our lives we don’t have to live after the flesh but can overcome and be like him.

James 1:18 double minded man is unstable in all his ways. In Proverbs 25:19 says the confidence in an unfaithful man is like a broken tooth of a foot out of joint. In 1 John 2:16 it says that all is in the world is the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and pride of life is not of the father but of the world. Many people believe God punishes people and tempts them with sin. This is not true; he gives us free will choice as said in.

James 1:12-15 blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempts he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death

There is six things God hates as said in Proverbs 6:16-19 a proud look, lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devise wicked imaginations, feet that be swift to run into mischief, a false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brethren. Now we know there are more than six things that God hates he hates all sin.

In Hebrews 9:25 it says it is appointed unto men once to die then the judgment. When we receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost we have something to fight the works of the flesh with.

Here are some more scriptures on the flesh.

Mark 7:20-22 and he said, that which cometh out of the man, that defiles the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lusciousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. So we see it is what’s outside the man that defiles the man. It’s what’s inside the man that defiles the man. We know that the natural heart and mind are separate parts of the body. Yet in the spiritual the mind and the heart are interchangeable as shown in.

Luke 6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. We know that the heart pumps blood and it doesn’t speak the mouth does. These are some of the attributes of the flesh.

Gal.5:19-21 the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envy, murders, drunkenness, raveling and such of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Romans 7:14-25 for us know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me. For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwells no good thing: I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man, But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. So we know if we sin we break or transgress the law of God as seen in.

I Jn.3:4 Whoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. So we know that in the flesh dwell’s no good thing. If we continue to sin then we shall die, now if we die out to self we shall live.

In romans 8 there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh. Do mind the things of the flesh. But they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that rose up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. When the Lord came he came to a sinful generation.

Mk 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels. Peter recognized he was a sinful man and fell to the knees of Jesus in repentance as we see in

Luke 5:8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord. We know that the Pharisee’s were jealous of the Lord so they were going to do evil and have him crucified as said in

Luke 24:7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. The works of the flesh when we feed it with lust becomes exceeding sinful.

Romans 7:13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. We know that Jesus was sinless but he came down from heaven to lay down his life for sinful flesh to condemn sin in the flesh.

Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: So we have learned that the works of the flesh causes us to end up in the Hell or under the law of sin and death. Many men through the years have tried to overcome the flesh and have failed. We as the children of God must put on the full armor of God as said in Eph 6:11, 13 Put on the wholearmor, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Wherefore take unto you the wholearmor of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand, (stand there in.) We know that is we are not standing in the things of God and putting on the armor of God. We are not of Christ even though we say we believe. We must not make provisions for our flesh either to walk according to the flesh as shown in the next two scriptures.

Rm. 9:8 they which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Rm. 13:14 Then put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof. We know God doesn’t call great men after the flesh, wise in their own understanding our mighty in the earth as shown in.

I Cor. 1:26, 29 for you see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: That no flesh should glory in his presence. Because we know in

I Cor.15:50 now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

2 Cor. 1:12 for our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward. So we know it is by God’s grace and not the wisdom of this world we are saved. Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshly tables of the heart. We liken the Ten Commandments to the law or a picture of the Pharisee’s having their own righteousness in the law. So we as children of God have stony hearts whether religious hearts or carnal hearts, against God. For we who live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh. Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know us him no more as a fleshly man, because he overcame the flesh and sent us the spirit of the father. To lead us and guides us away from the spirit of Adam to learning the ways of our savior Jesus Christ our Lord. Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. We as children of God must walk in this life as human beings, yet we must walk in the spirit and not wrestle with the flesh or surrender to our will, as seen in 2 cor.7:1 therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. For, when we were come into our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side.

Paul said in Gal. 6: 8, 12, and 13 for he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. As many as desire to make a fair show in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.

2 Cor. 10:2 I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh. We as children of Adam need to learn to learn the ways of the second Adam. Which was a quickening spirit as shown in

Eph.2:3-6, 10-11 among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands .

Paul said seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also. And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood. Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lived in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Paul proposed a question in Gal. 3:3 are ye so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh.

In Galatians 4:13, 14, 23, 29 He said ye know how through infirmity of the flesh. I preached the gospel unto you at the first. And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

He also said in Galatians 5:13, 16,17,19,24n For brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. When you really think about all this stuff between warring in the flesh it takes place in our fleshly Carnal minds that go back to where deception started from our father Adam who was a liar from the beginning. Because the Carnal Mind is enmity against God. If we learn who our worst enemy is then we can fight the flesh with the Spirit. Then we will not be led astray by our natural feelings and emotions. We will then be led by the spirit of God thru the Holy Ghost. THE WORKS OF THE FLESH BRING DEATH TO THE SOUL. THE WORKS OF THE SPIRIT BRING LIFE AND PEACE TO YOUR SOUL. THE QUESTION IS WHY DO WE AS HUMAN BEINGS CHOICE TO HAVE OUR WAY AND REJECT OUR CREATOR. AMEN
